Encouraging students to pursue the fullness of Christ

Support Christian Ministry at Clarion University
You can make all the difference in the life of a student

Picture
No matter what you’re doing or where you are, when you support Koinonia at Clarion University you’re taking an active role in campus ministry right here in Clarion, Pa.

Whether your funds are providing for our full-time staff, funding our fellowship groups, or sending an individual or team on a missions trip, you can be sure that your support matters to the students here at CUP.

Investing in Our Students
Ever drive by Clarion University, or take a glance at its website and wonder what you can do to help the Christians on campus?  It’s good to know that Koinonia is actively involved in seeking out nonbelievers and students that are struggling with their faith.

Some students come to Christ for the first time through our Koinonia ministry, and others, who were brought up in the church, are challenged to grow in their faith. These students are discipled and given the opportunity to become leaders. It’s a full ministry circle that we love to watch happen over and over again.

Investing in Our Leaders
Koinonia seeks to disciple, develop and direct students into active roles of leadership. Our goal is to invest in these students using sound, biblical principles to develop the godly character traits necessary to lead. We want to help students submit every part of their lives to God.

When our students show an interest in leadership, we’re right here for them. We want this ministry to be theirs because we believe that when they own it – they grow the most through it.

And let’s face it – what better stage of life to help develop God-focused leaders? These students have their lives spread out before them and their potential sphere of influence is immeasurable.

Investing in Our Future
It’s no secret that today’s young leaders are the voice of our future. In a secular university setting, we have the unique advantage of speaking into the lives of tomorrow’s teachers, business leaders, nurses, and even those who’ll have their fingers on the pulse of our nation’s media.

Now is the time to lead these young people to Christ and show them how they can apply a biblical worldview to their future careers.

Fundraising Dinner
Every year, our Koinonia Board of Directors hosts a Fundraising Dinner that gives community members a chance to view firsthand the impact our ministry has on our students. During the dinner, students share touching testimonials about their ministry experience and our Koinonia staff get to contribute their own heartfelt stories.

If you would like to attend the next Koinonia Fundraising Dinner, please call us at: 814-673-5573 or view our calendar page for frequent updates. Please note that although there is no cost for the dinner, this is a fundraising event, and all guests will be given the opportunity to make a contribution or a donation pledge that evening.
